POSTURE PROTOCOL
THE POSTURAL PROTOCOL DOCTOR HERNIA aims to alleviate pain caused by poor daily posture and prevent postural alterations.
Postural alterations, or postural deviations, refer to modifications in the spine that manifest as abnormal deviations of the natural curvatures or as excessive accentuation of these curvatures. In some cases, new curvatures may develop, resulting in a misaligned posture.
These alterations can lead to incorrect compensatory use of other body joints, as well as causing stiffness and shortening of the muscles, as the body seeks to compensate to maintain the individual's balance.
It is important to emphasize that, although the protocol helps treat pain related to poor daily posture, it is not indicated for correcting severe postural alterations, such as hyperkyphosis, hyperlordosis, and severe scoliosis.
